TERMS & CONDITIONS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Inside Egypt Travel Solutions by Dominant Travel

Your contractual relationship is with Inside Egypt Travel Solutions, operated by Dominant Travel, a duly licensed Egyptian tour operator holding Travel Agency License No. 1096, and a Member of the Egyptian Travel Agents Association (ETAA), ensuring financial and regulatory compliance.
Dominant Travel (hereinafter referred to as the “Tour Operator” or “Organizer”) specializes in the design and execution of unique, culturally immersive travel experiences and bespoke tours showcasing the history, culture, and heritage of Egypt.

Contract and Agreement

Before booking, all Travelers must read and understand these Terms and Conditions and raise any questions prior to making a reservation request. By confirming a booking with the Tour Operator, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Agreement.

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior communications, whether oral or written.

If you are booking on behalf of a group, the group leader assumes full financial responsibility and must communicate these Terms and Conditions to all group members. If a travel agent makes a booking on your behalf, the agent bears the same responsibility. The Tour Operator shall not be held liable for any failure by a group leader or agent to communicate these Terms and Conditions to individual travelers.

The Traveler certifies that all personal details provided are accurate. Any errors resulting in additional administrative costs shall be borne by the Traveler.

By paying a deposit and pre-booking a tour, the Traveler explicitly confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, including the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Upon pre-booking, the Traveler must complete and sign a Registration Form within 14 calendar days of the deposit payment or authorize a Travel Consultant to complete the form on their behalf. Failure to do so will be deemed a cancellation by the Traveler and will result in automatic cancellation according to the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Reservation and Payment

A Traveler’s reservation shall be confirmed upon receipt of:

  1. A non-refundable deposit, and

  2. A duly completed Registration Form.

Upon payment of the deposit, the Traveler may request one complimentary change of tour date, provided the change is made at least 365 days prior to the original tour start date. After that period, the deposit becomes non-transferable.

The final payment for all standard tours is due no later than 90 days prior to the tour start date.

Special Payment Terms – Egypt Total Solar Eclipse Tour (August 2027)

Due to the extraordinary nature of the Egypt Total Solar Eclipse Tour, which involves securing premium accommodations, exclusive event access, and specialized logistics well in advance, the following payment conditions apply:

  • The final payment must be received 365 days prior to your scheduled departure date.

  • Failure to remit the final balance by this deadline will result in automatic cancellation of your booking, and your deposit will be irrevocably forfeited.

  • All reservations for this particular tour are made far in advance, and most associated costs (accommodations, transportation, permits, and eclipse-event arrangements) are prepaid and non-refundable.

It is the Traveler’s sole responsibility to ensure that all payments are received on time. Non-compliance will result in immediate cancellation without refund.

Payments may be made by credit/debit card (Visa or Mastercard) or bank transfer. All wire transfer fees are to be borne by the Traveler. Credit card transactions require explicit authorization, which constitutes agreement to these Terms and Conditions and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

The Tour Operator reserves the right to amend accepted payment methods and dispute any improper chargebacks, including but not limited to unauthorized cancellations or dissatisfaction not based on non-performance.

Payment Details

A USD 1,500 non-refundable deposit per person is required to confirm a booking.
The remaining balance is due 90 days before the tour, unless otherwise specified (e.g., 365 days before for the Egypt Total Solar Eclipse Tour).

All prices are quoted per person in U.S. Dollars, based on double occupancy, and include VAT.
Single-room supplements apply upon request. Prices are subject to change prior to final payment.

Optional add-ons and upgrades will be charged separately and governed by the same refund policy.
Any bank or card processing fees (e.g., 2.5% for payment link transactions) shall be borne by the Traveler.

Cancellations and Refunds

If a tour is canceled by the Tour Operator, the Traveler shall be entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid, including the deposit. In all other circumstances, deposits are strictly non-refundable.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to contact@inside-egypt.com. Cancellations will take effect on the date the written notice is received by the Tour Operator.

Refunds for standard tours will be processed as follows:

  • 60 days or more prior to the tour start date: refund of all payments received, less the deposit.

  • 30–59 days prior: refund subject to non-recoverable supplier expenses.

  • 20 days or less prior: no refund will be issued.

Unused services (meals, site tickets, accommodations, optional excursions, etc.) are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If the Traveler voluntarily withdraws during the tour, no refund or credit shall be provided.

Special Cancellation Terms – Egypt Total Solar Eclipse Tour (August 2027)

Given the unique and highly time-sensitive nature of this event, all arrangements for the Egypt Total Solar Eclipse Tour are made well in advance, often more than a year before the scheduled travel dates. These include non-refundable supplier payments for hotels, event access, transportation, and other critical services.

Accordingly, the following special terms apply:

  • The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • The final payment is due 365 days prior to the scheduled departure date.

  • Failure to pay the final balance on or before this deadline will result in automatic cancellation of the reservation, and the deposit shall be forfeited in full.

  • After the final payment has been made, any refund will be strictly limited to amounts recoverable from third-party suppliers, at the sole discretion of the Tour Operator.

  • The Traveler expressly acknowledges that most reservations related to this tour are prepaid and non-refundable due to the rarity and exclusivity of the total solar eclipse event.

By booking the Egypt Total Solar Eclipse Tour, the Traveler confirms understanding of these conditions and accepts that cancellation flexibility is extremely limited due to the advance nature of the event planning.

Force Majeure

The Tour Operator bears no responsibility for any loss, damage, delay, or cancellation arising wholly or partially from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, or government restrictions. In such cases, the Tour Operator may offer rescheduling or a credit equivalent to recoverable amounts.

Choice of Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be submitted exclusively to the competent Egyptian courts.

The Traveler agrees to bring any claims in an individual capacity only and expressly waives the right to participate in class or representative actions.

The Tour Operator’s liability is limited to direct compensatory damages only. Punitive, incidental, or consequential damages are expressly waived. Written notice of any claim must be submitted within 30 days after tour completion or cancellation.
