Dominant Travel
These Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement between Dominant Travel (“Tour Operator”) and any individual booking or participating in a tour (“Traveler”).
By submitting any payment, signing a Registration Form, or participating in a tour, the Traveler confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.
A reservation is confirmed only upon:
Receipt of the required non-refundable deposit
Submission of a completed Registration Form
The Tour Operator reserves the right to decline any booking at its sole discretion.
A USD 1,500 non-refundable deposit per person is required unless otherwise specified. Deposits are non-transferable unless approved in writing.
Full payment is due 90 days prior to departure unless otherwise stated. Failure to remit payment by the due date results in automatic cancellation without notice and forfeiture of payments made.
Tour prices may be adjusted due to:
Currency fluctuations
Fuel surcharges
Government-imposed taxes or fees
VAT or tourism tax changes
Supplier price increases
Any adjustment will be reasonable and communicated in writing.
Due to substantial long-term supplier commitments:
50% of the total tour price is due 1 March 2026 and becomes non-refundable once paid
Final balance is due 1 November 2026 and becomes non-refundable once paid
These payments reflect binding advance commitments made on behalf of Travelers.
This clause overrides any general pricing provisions where inconsistent.
The 2027 Total Solar Eclipse is an extraordinary global event requiring multi-year contractual commitments with hotels, cruise operators, government authorities, security services, and premium viewing venues.
Because of this extended planning horizon and exceptional demand, tour pricing may be adjusted prior to departure in the event of material cost increases beyond the Tour Operator’s reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Inflation
Currency devaluation or exchange volatility
Government-imposed taxes, permits, or access fees
Mandatory security or regulatory requirements
Supplier price escalations
Insurance cost increases
Force majeure-related cost impacts
Other fundamental economic or market changes affecting the cost structure of the tour
The Traveler acknowledges that the economic risk of such increases is allocated under this Agreement.
Price adjustments will reflect actual or reasonably projected cost increases and will be communicated in writing.
Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, such adjustments do not constitute grounds for penalty-free cancellation.
If the Traveler elects to cancel following a price adjustment, the cancellation will be treated as voluntary and subject to the applicable cancellation terms.
By submitting payment, the Traveler expressly accepts this allocation of risk.
All group tours require a minimum of six (6) confirmed participants.
No departure is guaranteed until written confirmation is issued.
Travelers should not purchase international airfare until written confirmation is received.
If minimum participation is not reached, the Traveler may transfer to another departure or receive a refund of amounts paid to the Tour Operator.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
90+ days before departure: refund minus deposit
89–60 days: 50% non-refundable
59–30 days: 75% non-refundable
29 days or fewer: 100% non-refundable
For the 7-Day Egypt Total Solar Eclipse Tour, all payments become non-refundable once paid, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
No refunds are provided for:
Visa denial
Missed flights
Illness or personal circumstances
Dissatisfaction
Weather conditions or eclipse visibility
The Tour Operator does not guarantee:
Clear skies
Eclipse visibility
Weather conditions
Wildlife sightings
River levels
Access to specific sites
No compensation is due for unfavorable natural or environmental conditions.
The Tour Operator acts as organizer and intermediary for independent third-party suppliers, including hotels, cruise operators, transportation providers, and guides.
The Tour Operator is not liable for acts, omissions, delays, or insolvency of such suppliers.
Reasonable modifications to accommodations, transportation, order of visits, or scheduling may be made where necessary. Such changes do not constitute breach of contract provided the overall character of the tour remains substantially similar.
Travelers warrant that they are medically fit to participate.
Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, evacuation, interruption, and cancellation is strongly recommended.
The Tour Operator reserves the right to remove any Traveler whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or detrimental to the group.
No refund shall be provided in such cases.
The Tour Operator shall not be liable for delay, modification, or cancellation caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, war, civil unrest, or transportation disruptions.
Refunds, if any, are limited to recoverable supplier amounts.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Traveler
No liability shall arise for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Nothing excludes liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Egypt, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws where applicable.
By submitting payment, the Traveler confirms that they:
Have read and understood these Terms
Accept the pricing and cancellation structure
Accept the allocation of economic risk for the Eclipse Tour
Voluntarily assume travel-related risks
