Tour: 14-day
My wife and I initially signed up for the 14-day group tour but due to unforeseen circumstances asked if we could change to a private tour. Tiffany Thomas, the excellent contact person at Inside Egypt, responded positively and worked to arrange the private tour that essentially ran in parallel with the group tour. It worked out to be a great move, thanks to Tiffany’s efforts, since we were able to also join the larger group at breakfasts and dinners to chat about the day’s events – and they were a wonderful group of fellow tourists. We chose Inside Egypt first and foremost for the extensive itineraries they provided and if you want to see the essential sites one must see in Egypt, they did not let us down. Since we were a private tour, we had wonderful guides in Eman, Atef, and Hany, all expert in Egyptology. They in turn were supported by a courteous and conscientious support staff of tour leaders, drivers, security personnel, and airport transfer specialists who together made the whole trip seamless and easy-going, allowing you to focus on the mysteries and beauty of the ancient temples, burial sites, and pyramids that you will visit along the way. (Note: security personnel are needed solely to comply with certain Egyptian government dictates for groups traveling throughout Egypt. Oddly enough, it all made for a more-the-merrier feeling for the long rides from site to site. Egypt is exceptionally safe, compared to the Middle East, and the people are very open and happy to engage with any and all foreign tourists). Speaking of rides, make an effort to keep your nose pressed to the van’s windows to see modern Egypt as you transit from site to site, and city to city. It is a diverse and interesting country which if you are a city-person (or even if you aren’t) you will find yourself drawn to. Cairo and Alexandria (this via a one-day tour extension -- very much worth it) are possibly two of the most interesting cities I’ve visited, nothing like the cities of Europe – more dynamic, energetic, and at greater than a thousand years old, a bit ragged at the edges. Between the amazing mosques, open-air bazaars, and with ancient buildings juxtaposed with modern ones, it is something to experience. And lest I forget, we had an amazing trip into the desert where we saw, believe it or not, whale skeletons (!), but with limbs (!) showing that they were once land mammals. This site was a fascinating evolutionary view back millions of years to when the Sahara was part of the Mediterranean with abundant sea life and yes, whales. Egypt is not just about pyramids, for sure. In sum, if you are thinking of touring Egypt, it would be in your best interest to consider going with Inside Egypt – we did and we think we made a great choice. Shukran Inside Egypt!

Tour: 14 Day Tour
My daughter and I just returned from our 14 Day Egypt Tour with Inside Egypt. It was a trip of a lifetime! We had the most spectacular views of pyramids, temples and museums.
Our Egyptologist, Dr. Hossam El-Din was very passionate about the history of Egypt and explained the details of everything we were seeing. His passion kept us intrigued and constantly wanting to learn more. Besides his wealth of knowledge, Hossam was so incredibly friendly and loved interacting with everyone in the group and entertained the many questions we had about various topics.
Omar, our tour manager, kept everything running smoothly. He was fun to interact with and made small moments to personalize our trip from going out of his way to find us Kunafa (a traditional dessert) to try or combining our hotel reservation with our additional night so that we did not have to change rooms. Any questions we had, he was able to answer or quickly get the answers for us.
The amount of sites that we saw would not have been possible without an organized tour like Inside Egypt. The hotels, Nile cruise ship, local restaurants and shops that were used were AMAZING! The icing on the cake was getting early special access to the Great Pyramid before it opens to the public and being able to stand between the paws of the Sphinx! It was the most incredible experience to have without the crowds. I would recommend this tour 100% to anyone wanting to visit Egypt! Egypt is safe and the Egyptian people are extremely nice and ready to welcome you!

Tour: 14 days in Egypt, March 14-28, 2026
This was an amazing trip. Hard to imagine a better introduction to ancient Egyptian civilization and modern day Egypt. First rate accommodation and meals. Extremely well organized. Bus transportation was very comfortable and the cruise on the Nile was all we had imagined.
We had heard that Inside-Egypt targets sixteen clients per tour. We were ten in our group and we got lots of attention. It was fun being with like-minded folks. We We were accompanied beginning to end by an Egyptologist who, with unbounded enthusiasm, brought the history of ancient Egypt to life. There was so much information presented that we could not absorb it all. We are considering doing this trip again.
Some people are anxious about traveling in Egypt during the Iran war. We were accompanied all the time by an Inside Egypt tour guide and at no time felt threatened. It was our impression that the government of Egypt view securing the tourist business as a top priority.

Tour: 8 days tour/ cruise
The 8 days tour was an experience that we will not forget. The tour leader had thought about everything that we needed and Khalid our tour guide took every moment to educate us. The accommodations were 5 star. The private access to the great pyramid of Giza was truly amazing, we felt very special. Listening to Dr.Ashraf, the famous Egyptologist was fun and educational. The cruise on the Nile was amazing, staff and food were awesome. During the 8 days tour we saw so much but we also realized that there are way more to in Egypt. I really liked that We were small group not a large groups.

Tour: 8-Day Tour
I'm still buzzing from our amazing 8-day tour in Egypt, courtesy of Inside Egypt. Every step of the way, we were looked after with expert care and attention. There is a lot to pack in to this tour in the time allotted but I have absolutely no regrets in choosing such an ambitious tour. From the marvels of Abu Simbel, to our 3-day Nile cruise aboard the Movenpick Sunray, to the Valleys of the Kings and Queens in Luxor, to the wonders of Cairo and the Pyramids of Giza, we were able to witness all the wonders up close and under the expert guidance of our highly knowledgeable Egyptologist. The hotels and cruise ship were all of a very high standard and the food was delicious and plentiful. My highlight of the trip - and the main reason for choosing Inside Egypt - was to have the VIP access to the Pyramids and the Sphinx. It was unbelievable. Our small group had exclusive access to the Great Pyramid before the sun came up and we all climbed up to the King's Chamber, without having crowds all around us. This was followed by an exclusive VIP talk by Dr Mohie El-Din, the director of the Pyramids complex. We felt so honoured. Other highlights of the trip were seeing the Tutankhamun treasures all newly-housed in the Grand Egyptian Museum. We decided to add an extra day to our itinerary and we visited Alexandria, again accompanied by our own driver, tour guide and tour leader. Doing a small group tour is so enriching as you meet other people who share in wanting to experience all the delights of Egypt. From start to finish, we were looked after and felt completely safe during our visit and I would highly recommend using the services of Inside Egypt to anyone who is considering a tour of Egypt.

Tour: 8-day tour
We just got back from our 8-day tour of ancient Egypt, and we are still buzzing with excitement. Everything we wanted to see was seen. The experiences were other-worldly. To see pyramids up close, as well as temples and tombs was much different than seeing them on TV. The VIP private entrance to the great pyramid and sphinx (and camel ride) was our favorite day's experience, but our whole itinerary was amazing. A lecture from the head Egyptologist of the Giza Plateau in front of the Sphinx was something else, we felt very much like VIPs. And doing the Sphinx and great pyramid before the place opened meant that we had it all to ourselves. I will also never forget the colors inside the tombs/temples. And we learned about reading hieroglyphics too. Our Egyptologist guide was engaging and spoke good English. The tour leader made sure everything ran smoothly. There were absolutely no hiccups. When we requested something like a longer stay, or an additional stop, they accommodated us. Overall, a spectacular trip with a great company. 8 days is an aggressive schedule to see everything, yet, we never felt rushed at any site, and it's well worth it if you don't have time for a longer trip.

Tour: Inside Egypt: Dubai
The experience for this trip started from the moment my auntie connected with Inside Egypt for the 2nd time as a result from the best experience she had the 1st time around. The rapid responses and flexibility and adaptability from the representatives at Inside Egypt made us feel so confident, comfortable, secure in embarking on our trip. Tiffany was there for both trips, and she even took it a step further by assisting us to locate a missing charger for my aunties wheelchair, on her day off, at an airport, where we needed to connect with a family member leaving Egypt to get the charger to us as we were arriving to Egypt. It felt like concierge services or personal assistant. And don’t get me started on the Emirates flight!!! Woooooowwwww! Best customer service, best food, best flight attendants, best pilot, so friendly, so accommodating with our special needs adults…. We are thankful!
