Kofta is made of minced beef or lamb with spices added then rolled onto a skewer and barbecued over coals or cooked in the oven until juicy.
Served with pasta, rice or french fries as side dishes. Sometimes even served as a sandwich with Tomeya salad, which is made of a garlic sauce & mayonnaise or Mixed green salad.
Kofta can be eaten any time during the year and is usually served for lunch or dinner. The word kofta means grounded, as in the ground meat used to make them.
