The most famous museums in Egypt can all be visited on our tours.

Great Egyptian Museum - will be the best ancient Egypt museum
The Great Egyptian Museum (GEM) in Giza (Cairo), will soon be open and will become the tourist and cultural showpiece of Egypt. This museum will present memorabilia of the Egyptian civilization that has not been exhibited so far. There will also be the Cheops Solar Boat Museum as part of the Great Egyptian Museum. The museum will be divided into different sections to represent the various stages of the development of Egyptian civilization. One of them will be devoted to the discovery of the Pharaoh's solar boats. The exhibitions will show artifacts selected chronologically; from prehistory to the Greco-Roman period, and will amass the entire collection of Tutankhamun's treasures - over 5,300 artifacts - for the first time since his tomb was discovered a century ago, by British archaeologist Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings, near Luxor.

The museum aims to be one of the most modern museums of its kind, and to provide visitors with a unique experience while 'discovering Egypt's past, present and future', making it the best museum in Egypt according to many people. Restaurants and boutiques will also be built around the museum.
Egyptian Museum in Cairo - museum of Egyptian antiquities
This museum in Egypt brings together the largest collections of ancient Egyptian art and history in its rooms. Among them, there are many objects found in Tutankhamun's tomb. The most valuable of them is the golden mask. Other exhibits found in this ancient Egypt museum include numerous sarcophagi, artifacts and papyri as well as statues and sculptures including Queen Nefertiti and the statue of Amenhotep IV. In the museum, you will see a gallery of great Egyptologists, and a collection of Fayum portraits. The lower floor is occupied by the heaviest exhibits, presenting the beginnings of the history of the ancient state in chronological order. On the first floor you will find collections from the excavations and tombs.

National Museum of Egyptian Civilization - one of the best museums in Cairo
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, located in the Fustat district of Old Cairo, consists of elegant, low-rise pyramid-topped buildings scattered over vast grounds.
In this museum, the most important thing is the concept of civilization, not a specific time or period. The Royal Mummies' Hall, which contains the remains of the pharaohs, is designed to make visitors feel like they're in a real tomb. Even the inscriptions on the ceiling are the same as in the original tombs. The museum not only exhibits mummies, but also all the important artifacts like a sarcophagus and an X-ray image to explain the story behind the death of the ruler.

Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo - best museum in Egypt

There are also collections of rock crystal dishes, glass, and valuable ceramics, textiles and metal products. Notable exhibits in the museum include a gold-inlaid key to the Kaaba, a temple and sanctuary in Mecca - the most important holy place for Muslims. Such keys, which are masterpieces of craftsmanship, were given to viziers and other dignitaries as a sign of authority. This Cairo museum, in addition to famous Islamic art, also houses numerous handwritten copies of the Koran, Persian carpets, and ceramics from the Ottoman era, as well as ancient astronomical instruments and devices used by builders and chemists.

Located in downtown Cairo, the museum is housed in a building dating from 1903, specially erected to protect this lesser-known part of Egypt's rich cultural heritage.

The Coptic Museum in Cairo - one of the museums in Egypt
This is an interesting Egyptian museum located in Coptic Cairo, and it has the world's largest collection of Christian Coptic artifacts. It was founded by Marcus Simaik in 1908 to preserve Coptic antiquities. The museum traces the history of Egypt from its origins to the present day. It was erected on 8,000 square meters of land donated by the Coptic Orthodox Church, under the protection of Pope Cyril V.
